Do you do piercings or sell body jewelry at Howdy Tattoo?

Nope, tattoos only. We recommend All Star for piercings in the St. Louis area.

What are your hours?

We are currently by appointment only with the exception of Andy May who takes walk-ins most Fridays starting at 10AM. Please check his schedule to confirm availability.

Are face masks mandatory for entry?

Face masks are optional for entry but we ask that customers abide by social distancing guidelines and respect others' choices to wear face masks if they wish.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Andy May takes walk-ins on most Fridays starting at 10AM but we are otherwise appointment only.

How do I book an appointment?

All of our artists schedule and book their own appointments. They can be contacted from links above or in the Artists section.

I’ve never been tattooed, what do I need to know?

Arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment to fill out paperwork and make sure you’ve eaten something (there is a little snack shack / vending machine area in the building if you forget) and are hydrated.

How do I get to Howdy Tattoo?

Howdy Tattoo is located at 2654 Locust Street, just west of Jefferson Avenue. We are accessible from the Jefferson Avenue Exit, 38C, on Interstate 64/40 and from the Jefferson Avenue Exit, 289 from Interstate 44.

Do you tattoo minors with parental consent?

We do not tattoo minors with parental consent.

Where can I park?

Street parking is available on both sides of Locust Street near our shop. Street parking is metered from 8AM until 7PM.

The easiest way to pay for metered parking is with the Park Louie mobile app.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Each of our artists accept different forms of payments, and we recommend double checking with yours. Cash is always king and we have an ATM in the rear of our shop.

Each also accept various forms of electronic payments (Venmo, CashApp, Paypal, etc).

Shop merchandise is cash-only.
